What if I still owe money on my vehicle loan?
Progressive Auto Sales will search out your lien payout amount prior to the transaction. If you owe more money than your vehicle is worth, we will require you to make a payment for the balance difference or refinance the balance should you choose to trade in your vehicle. If you owe less than the balance of the loan, a payment for the lien payout is made to the lender and the remainder to you
Do you work with estate sales?
We definitely work with estate sales. If you are the executor of an estate or a power of attorney and have a vehicle you want to sell, we will work with you.
Why should I not sell my vehicle online?
To sell your car, truck SUV or van privately through online classifieds such as Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji, you need to make time in your schedule to show the vehicle. You will also need to allow people to test drive your vehicle, and be ready for no shows and hagglers. Will you provide the safety or sell it as-is? You will also be required to purchase the vehicle seller's package from the MTO and provide a bill of sale and know the process of selling privately.
Do you need to see or test drive my vehicle?
As a very large pre-owned vehicle dealership, we appraise many vehicle every day and purchase dozens daily. We do not require a test drive of your vehicle but, instead, rely completely on your transparency of the vehicles condition and history. We run a Carfax history report on each vehicle we purchase.
Can I bring it to your dealership for a live appraisal?
Our preference, as a dealership, is that you bring your vehicle to us for an appraisal. The majority of the vehicles that we purchase from private sellers are from out of town so we don't depend on this as a means to an accurate appraisal. Our sales managers will walk you through the simple appraisal process online.
How do I get my vehicle to your dealership?
We have a number of very convenient ways to complete the sales transaction. We can either send a driver to your home or you can drop it off to us!
Can I trade in my vehicle at another dealership and use your higher trade value?
You absolutely can! As long as they are willing to work with us and you. We have done this, successfully, many times!
Can I trade my vehicle at your dealership?
We love trade-ins and so should you! You can save a lot of tax on the purchase of your next vehicle by trading in your current one.
